This next blog I'm going to make is all about the problem in tourism of the Philippines.
I was inspired because of our tourism subject this morning.

The Philippines is called the "Pearl of the Far East" for many reasons.

Reason 1:
The country is beautiful

Reason 2:
It is beautiful

and
Reason 3:
It is beautiful


Seriously speaking, Philippines is one of the most beautiful countries on earth, it is rich in natural resources, beautiful scenery.

I don't want to fill this blog with pictures of the beauty of the country. with these pictures, I'm pretty sure that you see the beauty of the Philippines.

I will not forget, the rich culture of our country.

But through it all, it is not enough,

WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM?

The Philippines neighboring countries such as Thailand, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore got big numbers of tourists every year. Don't get me wrong, these are beautiful countries.

But so is the Philippines.

Again, back to the question,

WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM?

• Facilities?
• Transportation?
• PEOPLE?

Pick your poison, if you are an open minded person, we will arrive at the same answer.

But to show the facts,

Every plan, every strategy the DOT has to improve the tourism industry, everyone dislikes it.

They would even make fun of it. That's why, The Philippines is not moving forward. 

No idea is enough or too good to satisfy their narrow minds.

A product of the Philippines is introduced, the people wouldn't want it, instead talk shit about it all day.

A new Slogan of the DOT, immediately it is made fun of,

Everything negative, they want to show the whole world, how rotten the country is, even if it is not.

RIOTS happen in other countries maybe much worse than ours, 

HOSTAGE situations happen in other countries maybe worse than ours,

gun fights, drug dealers, drug lords, killers, murderers. Name it! 

They are all over the world, not just in one place.

But you don't see people talk shit about their country. They move on and become productive members of the society. They just don't sit down, and wait money to come. They work to earn it. and not blame the government about what happened to them.

MAYBE THE NEXT SONA OF THE PRESIDENT, SHOULD NOT TALK ABOUT THE STATE OF THE COUNTRY, BECAUSE IT IS STILL THE SAME.

MAYBE THE PRESIDENT SHOULD TALK TO THE ENTIRE NATION, TO HELP THE COUNTRY MOVE FORWARD, NOT MOVE BACKWARDS.
